Christmas Parties, Christmas Cards & McDonalds Fries...

We attended a fun Christmas gathering up at Ashley & Spencer's cabin... well her parents anyway. The highlight of the night was seeing beautiful pregnat Britni & Jason too. And the wonderful Gary, who although very skinny, made a great Santa! The food was delicious & the party was hopin'. Thanks for the fun night Ashley, you such the little hostess... & I just LOVE the brown hair! Wish we had more pics of the night... enjoy these...
Totally random & nothing to do with this blog... But like mother like daughter. She was LOVING munching on this empty box of fries! This will go along with Jeff's plan to feed her whole milk & fatty foods until she is 21... just getting on the right track Jeff!

~Merry Christmas~ xo

A Very Merry Un~Christmas to You!

We had a little pre~Christmas celebration at our home in Provo. We are still kids at heart & just can't wait that long! Even tough Sadie is not old enough to know what is going on, she still brings so much magic back to this time of year. I just can't wait until she is itching to get down to open her presents & send notes to Santa! Russell bought her this cute little piano, she loves buttons & such. She has been having a blast pounding on it! I found a case of apple beer for Russ at Cosco & he got me some much wanted books! We can't wait to share time with our family & friends at home. We are driving down to Vegas on thursday & staying with the Rowleys, we can't wait to spend some time with them & meet their new baby boy. We will be in Laguna on Friday & we can't wait! See you all soon! xo

Swingin' & A Little Volleyball

So this was the first time Sadie went swinging. My mom and Jim walked her downtown... while I slept... YES!!! But when they sent me the cutest text with her on the swing smiling so big, I said " Don't move!" So I drove down with the real camera to catch her laughing and grinning. By the time I got there she was still loving it, but she was just relaxing and enjoying the ride. I know she loved it because she was 20 min. past time to eat, and she NEVER lets that happen!! That Saturday BYU played Long Beach in a tournament. It was so fun to watch the new team play and see them building their spirit up for the season. I can't wait to watch Russell and the team take it all the way baby... to a national championship!! GO COUGARS!!!

Relaxing with Nana, the noise didn't bother her because she goes to practice a lot

Cousins

We had both our families together to have some dinner and play some Wii. It is so fun to see Roy & Sadie react to each other. Roy is just 10 days Sadie's senior and I know they will be such good buddies.

We didn't even plan the matching shirts... buddies already!

I love my Haley Rae!

15th Try is a Charm!

Well, it worked. So here are the photos from our trip to the Sawdust Winter Festival. I have always loved the sawdust and it has been so fun to go there now with Russ and Sadie. I still get a kick out of seeing the same people that have been there since I was 5... and long before. There is a guy who still sells pictures that I swear are from the 70's, ahhh Laguna, I love you!

I love the North Pole entrance, it was beautiful at night

Baby Mozart

Uncle Dane was teaching Sadie how to play piano. She was loving it!

Something to Talk About...

I sure have a lot! It has been a long time since I posted, so forgive me all the updates... We had a wonderful Thanksgiving break down in California. It was just beautiful there, and so good to be home. Sadie and I stayed an extra week since Russell was coming back to play a game at Long Beach... so we really enjoyed the extra time spent with family. My mom and I decorated the store windows in Little Bohemian and Bohemian Kids, in Laguna. That was SO much fun for me!! I hadn't done that for so long and it was a nice visit to my past (I'll get some picks of that later). I did a ton of Christmas shopping, maybe too much! And Sadie started to teeth... that part not so pleasant... hopefully I can help her through this with as little discomfort as possible. It really breaks my heart because I can just tell she is not her normal happy little self, poor girl. We saw Santa at the Sawdust, with my family and then at South Coast to take a picture with Sadie's cousin Roy, it was so cute, and to my surprise she didn't cry either time. She must have gotten used to people, being around so much family.... especially the Holmes side... HUGE!!! She also went on her fist trip to the playground and LOVED the swings down at Main Beach in Laguna!! I wish we could walk to swing at the beach everyday! We ate delicious food and had a blast with everyone!! All in all a great couple of weeks! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!! xo
