i felt so abundantly blessed this year to have my family together. i guess the thing i am most thankful for is the gospel because that has truly been the gateway to all the blessings in my life. if i had not been introduced to it i would not have such a wonderful husband, amazing daughter & so many of my closest friends, who i truly cherish. truly so much to be thankful for.

it's official...

we are disney pass~holders & sadie is just as in love with it as her mom! we have a blast watching her soak it all in each time we go... so any of you pass~holders {or just those of you who want to be really happy for a day}  give us a call... we are always up for a trip to the happiest place on earth.

so, we are getting on pirates the other night & sadie starts to laugh like crazy... she can't contain the excitement & i know just hoe she feels! 
we took a trip recently with these 2 crazy kids... 
we both would feel totally ok with living in this place!

well, it has been about 2 months since niccole's birthday... but i have been a bad blogger. we love you niccole!!! and we had the best time celebrating with you! 

on a side note:

since i don't keep a journal,  i have decided to be a better blogger, {i am putting it in writing hoping that will help me stick to it} simply for the fact of having something to look back on... i would love to have one of those books made. i have really slacked on blogging all of sadie's accomplishments through the past year & a half & regret that{at least she has a baby journal to look at} ... so get ready for some more posts... mostly about what sadie is up to, but us too! some of our experiences might seem trivial to most, but i love having my memories "blogged" xo

something to blog about.

ok, ok, so for someone who actually really enjoys blogging... i have been slacking. so even though we have had a few {in my mind} blog~worthy events in the past few weeks since we have been back{coming home, niccole's birthday, finally getting our disney passes, etc.} ... i was feeling a bit overwhelmed by all i had missed... so i figured now is a great time to start a new. here are some of the great shots russell got at

a day in the puerto rican life...

{if you haven't heard by now we have had a lot of rain in the past week over here on the island. so a little puddle jumping was in order}

{the 'what' is referring to this fabulous tank we scored at el yunque for russell. it reads "bloody volley mary"... "what?" sadie was running around in it and having so much fun}

{ok, so these KILL me!! these handsome little men are on a poster that hangs court-side at our home court. sadie always gets excited when she is running around the court waiting for daddy after the game & she sees these "little people" staring back at her. i told her to give them loves and she sure did! this girl seriously makes life so great!!}

 so sadie has been really into the stairs lately. she literally wants to go up & down, up & down... over & over... you get the point. anywhoo, kristin took this video the other night because we were dying laughing at her!! she wants to do the steps like a big girl & tries not to stop between each one... the problem is the steps are about as wide as she is tall... so stinkin' cute!!!
