Nothing is Better...

than having  a 1 year old!! Just want this little one to know how loved she is... as was shown by all the family & friends who joined us to celebrate her first. We have been so very blessed to have her around this past year. It was fun to reminisce yesterday about the day she was born. Both Russell & I have the fondest memories & we are so grateful for that. It is strange to think that just one year ago we were just getting aquanted with our sweet girl. Thanks so much to all who came & braved the rough laguna saturday traffic to celebrate her big day with us. It meant the world to have you all around! In addition to Little Bohemian... the adorable Rascals to Rebels is now carrying my stuff!! At, count'em, all 3 locations!!! I am so excited... as you can see from the over use of exclamations in this post!!!!!!!!

of our favorite graduates! My cousins, Haley & Luc, both graduated this past week... Haley from LBHS & Luc from Thurston Middle School. We were so glad that we could be here to celebrate their achievements. I was a graduate from both of these schools so it was a fun & nostalgic day. They are both such amazing people & we love them dearly.

Growing up an only child, these two have been like my siblings. We have lived in the same town since they were born & it has been the most wonderful blessing to watch them grow up into the caring & fun people they are. I love you both more than words can say! xo

Roy, Roy the Birthday Boy!!

Last saturday we celebrated Roy's early birthday {he is 1 on the 18th} It was so fun to watch all the little ones & I can't wait for Sadie's party on the 28th!! Here's how the day went for the birthday boy...

{a few tears were shed after the 'happy birthday' song was over & the entire party started to clap... we love our sensitive little boy. & you know how the song goes... "it's my party..."

{things turned around for the birthday boy when the party was over & it was just us, mimi & g~pa, & his trusty parents around to cheer him on}
{my cousin milena was in town to shoot a wedding... it was nice to see her... but the visit was way to short! can't wait for next week! if anyone needs a wedding photog i'd be glad to give out her digits... she does great candid photos! a shameless plug, i know...}
{sadie has loved all the water that comes with the warm weather. she is in the yard at least once a day with cousin to play & get wet & wild!}
{both these kiddos are sooo excited when g~pa comes home from work. they literally get to him as fast as they can for some loves... so sweet!}

A Day at the Park...

... literally! These are a few from the other day when I was at work & Russ & his mom took Sadie to the park. {yes, I am working in my friend Amii's kid's boutique whenever she needs me & am loving it!}  We have been meeting my aunt & her little girl here every tuesday & Sadie just loves this place. It really is a great little park...

O.C.M.C.O.

... or in other words Orange County Mormon Choral Organization. Tami sings in the choir & it was our first time being around to go and see a performance... an amazing one at that! The songs were wonderfully patriotic & the kids in it were adorable. A guy Russell knows played piano flawlessly... one of the most amazing things I have ever seen, he had just recently graduated from Julliard. We made a night of it and had a delicious dinner at Maggiano's, one of my fav's! Thanks Tami for the tickets, it was wonderful to finally see your talented & energetic self perform! And thanks to Nana & Papa for babysitting & for the gift card! 

Daddies...

...not a day I have done much celebrating of in the past... but now I can't think of a better day to celebrate. I feel so blessed to have been able to marry this wonderful man to be the best father to my kids. Sadie adores her daddy & she has every reason to! I know that having her dad around will make her a strong & secure little girl & I can ask for nothing more!! xoxo{ i mean look at these two... they are quite the buddies... & i just love that}
